Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Strite (“Strite”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit strite.io or get in touch with us. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the “GDPR”) and applicable Spanish data protection law, including Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).
1. Who we are (Data Controller)
Strite is a software engineering company based in Spain that builds software and AI solutions — including our product, BeeOps — for international clients.
- Data Controller: Strite
- Location: Spain
- Contact: hello@strite.io
For our full registered company details (registered legal name, registered office address, and tax identification number / NIF), please contact us at hello@strite.io.
2. Scope
This policy covers personal data we process through this website (strite.io), including our contact form and recruitment enquiries. It does not cover third-party websites we link to (such as beeops.chat), which are governed by their own privacy policies.
3. Personal data we collect
We collect only the data we need:
- Contact form: your name, company (optional), email address, and the content of your message.
- Recruitment enquiries: if you apply for a role, the personal data contained in your email and any materials you send to people@strite.io (for example, your name, contact details, and CV).
- Technical data: when you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically processes limited technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, and access timestamps, primarily in server logs for security and reliability.
- Preferences: we store your theme choice and cookie preferences in your browser’s local storage. See our Cookie Policy.
We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data, and we ask that you do not include such data in your messages.
4. Purposes and legal bases for processing
We process personal data for the following purposes, each with a corresponding legal basis under Article 6 of the GDPR:
- Responding to your enquiries and providing information you request — based on your consent and/or our legitimate interest in responding to you (Art. 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(f)), and, where relevant, taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Managing job applications and recruitment — based on taking steps at your request prior to a possible employment relationship and/or your consent (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(a)).
- Operating, securing, and maintaining the website — based on our legitimate interest in running a safe and functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Analytics to understand and improve the site (only if enabled) — based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). Analytics are not currently active on this website.
- Complying with legal obligations — based on compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject (Art. 6(1)(c)).
5. Cookies and analytics
This website uses minimal cookies and similar technologies. Non-essential cookies (such as analytics) are only used with your consent, which you can give or withdraw at any time through our cookie banner and cookie settings. For full details, see our Cookie Policy.
6. Third-party services and processors
We rely on a small number of trusted providers that process data on our behalf or provide infrastructure:
- Vercel Inc. — website hosting and content delivery; may process technical and log data, including IP addresses.
- Google (Google Fonts) — delivery of web fonts; when the site loads fonts, your browser may connect to Google servers, which may receive your IP address.
- Web3Forms — processing of contact-form submissions in order to deliver them to us by email.
We put data processing terms in place with our processors where required and share only the minimum data necessary.
7. International data transfers
Some of our service providers are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under the GDPR — such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework — so that your data continues to receive an adequate level of protection.
8. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above:
- Contact enquiries: for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted or anonymised.
- Recruitment data: for the duration of the selection process; deleted afterwards unless you consent to us keeping it for future opportunities.
- Server logs: retained for a limited period for security and diagnostics.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- access your personal data;
- request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request erasure (the “right to be forgotten”);
- restrict or object to processing;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@strite.io. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, AEPD), www.aepd.es.
10. Data security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our measures regularly.
11. Children
This website and our services are intended for businesses and professional audiences and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision, and material changes will be reflected here.
13. Contact
